Last week, many of us were crushed with the news that world renowned doll artist Dianna Effner had passed away. Those who knew her were devastated, and those who were touched by her creations were at a loss with little means to cope. So many of us now feel a loss and deep heartache over the passing of someone we may have never even met. The doll community has been shaken, and rightly so. Dianna's impact on collectors and artists reached across the globe.
Dolls have been scientifically proven to aid in emotional and even physical healing. It is my hope and prayer that the following images can aid in healing your heart from this loss as well. We will always remember Dianna, and the impact she had on our world.
Miriam was sad. All she wanted to do was hug her doll, but even her doll reminded her of Dianna.
Thankfully Audrey was nearby to offer a hug.
Sometimes you just need the shoulder of a friend.
C'mon, Miriam. Let's find Fiona. She always knows how to help.
Fiona had some ideas to help work through the hurt.
Stella and Fiona worked very hard in the kitchen.
While Miriam and Audrey made a banner.
They wrote down memories of Dianna and hung them on the banner, along with their favorite pictures.
What a task to honor such a legend. But each of us, in our own way, can find a way to remember Dianna.
It doesn't happen overnight, but in the midst of mourning and remembrance comes healing and peace of heart.
In Honor of the Life of Dianna Effner

This is the sweetest tribute ever! Thanks, Sarah
