Over the past eight years, I’ve been part of an amazing business where I get to create dream dolls and repair/reunite with their best dolly friend. Most have been paying customers, but there have been many times where I have also had the opportunity to bless families with a free doll. This year, I would like to level it up, and have set a personal goal of donating 20 dolls to families who could not afford them for Christmas. Children and special needs adults would be eligible. You may nominate a child/adult/family or apply for your own child/self.
The super cool part? I will open up the opportunity for all of you to participate in a multi-fold gift. The restoration process and the crafting of the clothing will be made in whole or in part by special needs adults who will be paid for their time/work.
Each American Girl doll and/or Bitty Baby would be authentic and professionally restored/refurbished to like new quality, and would include an outfit, shoes (for the 18 inch AG dolls), and gift box.
For every $50 donation (with an $8.95 shipping fee), I will gift a fully restored doll to a child/individual who may not be able to afford one for Christmas. These dolls are valued at $85-$250, and can be shipped across the US. Want to help, but can’t afford to share $50? I will have links on my site for different donation amounts. Share the donation with your friend or your women’s Bible study group! Or, choose to make a donation to “add on” extras for a doll- like extra clothing or shoes ($10-25 spots). Other ways to help- I’ll be accepting donations of previously owned American Girl dolls and Bitty Babies (Only this brand, because of their ability to be repaired and restored).

Qualifications- A child, special needs adult, or individual facing a hardship with a desire to receive an American Girl doll or Bitty Baby without the means to afford one. No financial requirements needed. Things happen and life can be difficult. I will need to verify identity in some way to avoid scammers.

Age & name of the nominee (Please be sure to have permission of the parent or guardian for children under 18 years old.)
Details about what type of doll they would enjoy receiving (Hair /eye color preferences, 18 inch American Girl doll or Bitty Baby, favorite colors for outfits.) Although I cannot guarantee all of the preferences will be met, I will try to move mountains to make it happen. I will approve requests on a first come, first served basis, and as resources come in.
Qualifying nominations will be contacted by December 1st or before, so you can plan for Christmas. Gifted dolls will be shipped by December 15th or before.
